Sanskrit: Level 3

Sanskrit: Level 3

[wpv-autop]This course builds upon our Level 1 and 2 Sanskrit courses. We will study chapters 5 and 6 of Yogāvatāraṇam: The Translation of Yoga, integrating traditional Indian and Western academic methods of learning for an engaging experience of learning Sanskrit.

We we will learn more nouns (ending in -i, -u and -ṛ), as well as other verbal forms, such as the imperative, optative and past tense, and also gerunds and infinitives. This will allow us to continue to read from yoga texts, putting theory into practice by chanting and translating verses together.
