IN YOUR OWN TIME
AT YOUR OWN PACE
This is one of the most rewarding courses I have ever done. It is a vast and many stranded subject but each session draws you to be keen to read the next, with prose that is as clear as it is interesting. The OCHS provided excellent communication and help – in every respect, highly recommended.
Being from a Hindu background, this course was a blessing. To be able to academically study Hinduism is a rarity. The course far exceeded my expectations. The discourses on religious texts have been profound and eye-opening. The lecturer is incredibly passionate and one can’t help but be moved by his sheer excitement.
This course, personally, was really life-changing for me. Thanks to all at OCHS for so patiently answering our questions.
The course [Philosophy of Yoga] is perfectly designed to answer questions about the history of yoga philosophy, and to provide a framework for further study. I shall be back for more coursework on Hinduism.

These courses are taught by the Continuing Education Department of the Oxford Centre for Hindu Studies, a Recognised Independent Centre of the University of Oxford and a registered charity.
The principal aim of the Centre is the study of Hindu culture, religion, languages, literature, philosophy, history, arts, and society, in all periods and in all parts of the world. All Hindu traditions are included.
The Continuing Education Department of the OCHS has been providing courses in Hinduism throughout the UK since 2003. The online version of the course makes it accessible to students throughout the UK and globally.
